Global campaign relaunches with prominent support; Alaba and Arnautovi\u0107 among key voices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former governor, world bodybuilding champion, Hollywood star, and climate activist Arnold Schwarzenegger is once again relying on muscle power for climate and environmental protection: with the global participatory campaign \u201cPump for the Planet,\u201d Schwarzenegger is calling on people of all ages this Earth Day to take action together and send a strong signal for a clean and healthy future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign will run over the coming weeks until the Austrian World Summit 2026<\/a><\/strong>, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary on June 16 at the Vienna Hofburg. Once again, the initiative enjoys strong support from well-known personalities and delivers a clear message: climate and environmental protection require united power\u2014and everyone can easily take part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a video message, Schwarzenegger says:<\/strong>
\u201cThere\u2019s nothing better than having a good pump. But let\u2019s not just pump up the muscles and the body. Let\u2019s pump up the environment, lets up the planet. That\u2019s going to reduce the pollution. When we act together, we can truly make a difference. So let\u2019s get to work!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monika Langthaler, Director of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, adds:<\/strong>
\u201cWith \u2018Pump for the Planet,\u2019 we show that climate action is not abstract\u2014it starts in everyday life. Every conscious decision\u2014whether in movement, consumption, or mobility\u2014is a contribution to a healthier environment. This connection between personal strength and shared responsibility is what makes the campaign so powerful.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaba and Arnautovi\u0107 also call for participation<\/strong>
Across social media, numerous public figures are already demonstrating how physical activity, health, and simple habit changes can go hand in hand with environmental and climate protection: commuting by bike or public transport, collecting waste together, or switching to reusable water bottles are just a few examples. Using the hashtag #PumpForThePlanet<\/strong> and through the channels of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, they are sending visible signals against pollution and in favor of preserving our natural foundations of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, particularly strong support also comes from the Austrian national football team<\/strong>. Team captain David Alaba<\/strong> and record player Marko Arnautovi\u0107 <\/strong>are joining Schwarzenegger\u2019s call. Returning supporters from previous years include stars such as Giovanni Zarrella and The BossHoss, actresses Valerie Huber and Barbara Meier, as well as Hans Sigl, Ralf M\u00f6ller, and Elisabeth G\u00f6rgl.
