Right after the 10th AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT in Vienna, the AWS Solutions Hub in Asparn an der Zaya opened its doors for a special Hub Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a particular honor to welcome Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/strong> back to the place he personally opened in 2023. Since then, the Hub has grown into a living example of what practical climate action can look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with Raiffeisen<\/strong>, a modern renewable energy system<\/strong> with PV installation, battery storage, and an EV charging station became the starting point for an energy community. Today, more than 10,000 people are part of the Raiffeisen Energy World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wild Solutions Park<\/a><\/strong> also shows how solutions can take root: robust cattle, water buffalo, wild donkeys, and horses help transform formerly intensively used land back into a living habitat for many species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A central part of the Hub Day was an inspiring discussion moderated by Matt Iseman, host of the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT. The panel brought together Barbara Buchner<\/strong>, CEO of Climate Policy Initiative and one of the leading voices in climate finance; Curt Chadha<\/strong>, Head of Strategy & Innovation at Raiffeisen-Holding N\u00d6-Wien<\/strong>; Heather Mills<\/strong>, entrepreneur and founder of the plant-based food company VBites; Maya Leinenbach<\/strong>, the creator behind Fitgreenmind <\/strong>and one of the world\u2019s most successful plant-based food voices; Ayoola Dominic<\/strong>, CEO and co-founder of Koolboks<\/strong>, which develops solar-powered cooling solutions for Africa; C\u00e4cilia Havm\u00f6ller<\/strong>, vegan entrepreneur and founder of Veganista<\/strong>; and Monika Langthaler<\/strong>, Director of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative<\/strong>. Together, they discussed how finance, innovation, food systems, entrepreneurship and biodiversity can help turn climate solutions into real-world impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With inspiring discussions, innovative companies, and strong partnerships, the Hub Day showed how ideas can become real-world solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
