Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Opening the Summit with a speech on\u00a0Austria\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0role and responsibility<\/strong>\u00a0in an ever-changing world. He will highlight the importance of\u00a0commitment,<\/strong>cooperation, and shared values<\/strong>\u00a0in shaping a sustainable and resilient future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ant\u00f3nio Guterres \u2013 The UN Secretary-General<\/strong>\u00a0will deliver a special welcome message, highlighting the need for\u00a0united action<\/strong>\u00a0in an increasingly polarized world. His message will underscore the power of collective efforts to safeguard our future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rainn\u00a0Wilson<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Actor, author, and\u00a0climate activist.<\/strong>\u00a0Known for his role in\u00a0The Office<\/strong>, Wilson is also a passionate\u00a0environmental advocate<\/strong>. He co-founded\u00a0SoulPancake<\/strong>, a media company that promotes positive social change, and is actively involved with\u00a0Arctic Basecamp.\u00a0<\/strong>Founded by Professor Gail Whiteman, their mission is to \u201cspeak science to power,\u201d inspiring bold climate action through unique communications and direct engagement with global leaders from business, policy, and civil society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are excited to welcome\u00a0M\u00fcge Baltac\u04cf<\/strong>, founder of mol-e, whose innovative start-up is tackling the growing challenge of electronic waste in companies. Joining her is\u00a0Julia Bialetska<\/strong>, whose company s.lab is revolutionizing sustainable packaging by transforming agricultural waste and mushroom mycelium into eco-friendly alternatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dominic Thiem<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Forme<\/strong>r tennis cham<\/strong>pion and sustainability advocate<\/strong>. In 2024, Thiem launched\u00a0Thiem Energy<\/strong>, a renewable energy platform aimed at reducing electricity costs through 100% Austrian-produced sustainable power. His commitment to environmental initiatives brings a unique perspective to our Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valerie Huber<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Actress, activist, and author<\/strong>. Best known for her work in film and TV, Huber is also a\u00a0UNICEF Honorary Ambassador<\/strong>\u00a0advocating for\u00a0climate justice and social equality<\/strong>. In 2025, she published the\u00a0bestseller“Fomo Sapiens – Verpassen wir die heile Welt?“<\/strong>. At AWS 2025, she will speak directly to our\u00a0young students<\/strong>, inspiring them to take action for a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Benji Backer<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Founder of Nature Is Nonpartisan<\/strong>, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering bipartisan environmental dialogue. Backer is also author of the best-selling book\u00a0„The Conservative Environmentalist“<\/strong>. His efforts aim to redefine environmentalism beyond political boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
