Beth Gardiner is a London-based environmental journalist and the author of Choked: The Age of Air Pollution and the Fight for a Cleaner Future. Her work has appeared in publications including the New York Times, the Guardian, National Geographic, Time and Smithsonian. Beth spent 10 years as a reporter for the Associated Press, based first in New York and then in London. The Society of Environmental Journalists and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting awarded her grants to support her work on Choked, and she has appeared on broadcast networks including National Public Radio and WNYC in the U.S. and BBC, ITV, Sky News and LBC radio in Britain.
