Christian Stocker

Born in 1960, in Wiener Neustadt, Dr. Christian Stocker has served as Federal Chancellor of Austria since March 2025. He previously held several political roles, including Vice Mayor of Wiener Neustadt (2000–2025), Member of the National Council (2019–2025), and Secretary General of the Austrian People’s Party (2022–2025). Since 2025, he has been the party’s Executive Chairman. A practicing lawyer from 1994 to 2025, he studied law at the University of Vienna, earning both Mag. iur. and Dr. iur. degrees.
